Barbara Rogers, Ph.D., Cranbury Township Committeewoman who was reelected in 2022, was named April’s “Sustainability Hero” by the Sustainable Jersey organiztion.
Barbara was recognized for her many efforts including:
- Adding Green building and Sustainability elements added to the township’s Master Plan
- Leading Mayor’s Walk and Bike to School event
- Working on farmland preservation
- Taking steps to ensure townwide flood resiliency
- Creating the Yearly Cranbury Stream Cleanup, and
- Working on the Bicycle Network Path
Barbara’s work helped the town to gain a silver-level certification from Sustainable Jersey in 2022.
The CDC has been proud to support Barbara in both her successful runs for Township Committee. We look forward to supporting all the projects she is currently working on.
