There are Three Ways to Vote in New Jersey

Vote Column A – Make a Plan to Vote by November 4!

#1. Vote By Mail Ballot

Return your vote-by-mail ballot as soon as possible!
  • U.S. Postal Mail: Your vote-by-mail ballot MUST be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day (November 4) and received by the Middlesex County Board of Elections on or before the sixth day after the close of the polls.
  • Secure Ballot Drop Box: Place your vote-by-mail ballot in one of your county’s secure ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
    • The closest location for Cranbury residents is the Cranbury Police Department, 1 Logan Drive, Cranbury, NJ 08512 (drop box located in front of police station).

#2. In-Person Early Voting

Vote early and in person on a machine at any of the 10 early voting locations in Middlesex County from October 25th – November 2nd, no matter where in Middlesex County you’re registered to vote. Hours for all locations are: Monday–Saturday: 10 a.m.– 8 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m.– 6 p.m. For a full list of early voting locations in Middlesex County, click here.

#3. At Your Polling Place on Election Day

Last Chance to Vote is on Election Day – Tuesday, November 4th! On Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned polling place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

  • For all Cranbury residents in-person voting takes place at: Cranbury Town Hall, 23 N. Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512.
