The Cranbury Democratic Committee endorses newcomer Lisa Knierim for Township Committee

Lisa is a huge sports fan and loves to go to baseball games with her family, husband Adam and daughter Greta.

The Cranbury Democratic Committee is pleased to endorse Lisa Knierim for Township Committee. Lisa and her husband Adam bought their home in Cranbury’s Shadow Oaks section in 2016, and their daughter Greta (12) attends Cranbury School.

A New Jersey native, Lisa is the former President & Chief Executive Officer for the Americas division of the homewares company Villeroy & Boch and currently is the Chief Development Officer for Porland USA.  In addition, she runs her own consulting business here in Cranbury.

Lisa and her family visited Washington, DC to see all the sights!

Lisa values civic participation and has a history of service to the community. She served as the Vice-Chair for the past 2 years on the town’s Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) and volunteers her time as a member of the Cranbury Business Association.

Lisa brings with her a keen business acumen and profit and loss (P&L) management skills. If elected to the Township Committee she hopes to:

  • build the town’s long-term financial stability and reduce tax burdens while maintaining the small-town quality of life,
  • ensure national companies with facilities in Cranbury pay their fair share in taxes and be held accountable for their impact on our roads and natural resources,
  • and streamline processes to keep local projects on deadline, preventing any unnecessary spending due to avoidable delays.

Lisa believes that strengthening the local economy will help ensure a high standard of living for all residents, increase home values, and provide funds for priorities like safe roads and vibrant community spaces.

Former colleagues of Lisa’s have high praise for her management style. One colleague, Paul Nagle writes, “One of Lisa’s greatest abilities is to identify common ground between her objectives and those of others.”

Another previous co-worker says, “Lisa is a results-driven person who forms wonderful relationships with everyone she encounters.”

The CDC is confident that Lisa has invaluable skills and a natural gift for collaboration that can make her an excellent Township Committee member.
