Neighbors for Neighbors

Do you need help getting supplies or with other support? Are you someone in the community who has the resources to help others and wants to do something useful? Your Cranbury neighbors are working together to create a way for those who want to help others in town who need it and do so safely.

This is called the “Neighbors for Neighbors” program. Here is a link for how to sign up.

Chief Nursing Officers, Chief Medical Officers needed

New Jersey Department of Health has an immediate need for people with experience as a Chief Nursing Officer or Chief Medical Officer to help lead our field medical stations. We also need physicians and respiratory therapists. More information. 

New Jersey looking for Technology Volunteers

The state has opened an online portal for people with experience in a variety of technological areas and they are seeking volunteers. More information

Sew Many Masks Project

The Arts Council of Princeton is sponsoring an initiative for community members to lend a hand increasing the local supply of cloth masks. You can volunteer to cut fabric, and/or to sew. The completed masks will then be available for pick-up for those who need them. More information

Mercer Mask Project

New Jersey nonprofit preparing masks for their use and, s and, upon request, by other members of the community.

Retired doctors/doctors from other countries needed

The Governor issued an executive order permitting doctors who are retired or from other countries to join the battle against COVID-19. The order provides them immunity for civil liability for good faith efforts of providing COVID-19 care. Individuals can sign up here. Not covered under the order, but also needed are students in the last year of medical studies.

Meals On Wheels Mercer

Meals on Wheels of Mercer County is is looking for emergency substitute volunteers. The group is continuing to deliver meals weekdays while onboarding emergency substitute volunteers at 10 a.m. at Daly’s Dining Hall on the Rider Campus in Lawrence, until further notice.
