Lisa Knierim

The CDC is grateful for the leadership of Mayor Lisa Knierim and is proud to endorse her for a second term as our Democratic candidate for the Cranbury Township Committee in 2025.

Lisa has called Cranbury home for 9 years, where she and her husband, Adam, are raising their daughter, Greta. A proud New Jersey native, Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY and has built a successful career as a corporate executive known for her strong business acumen and commitment to fiscal responsibility.

Lisa has served Cranbury with dedication and vision, first as a member of the Township Committee, then as Deputy Mayor in 2024, and now as the current Mayor. Her leadership has been instrumental in ensuring that Cranbury continues to maintain the lowest municipal tax rate among all 25 municipalities in the county.

Deeply devoted to community service, Lisa has volunteered for years at Skeets Pantry, working to combat food insecurity—a cause close to her heart. She is passionate about preserving Cranbury’s small-town character, strengthening community bonds, and ensuring the township remains a place where families can thrive for generations to come.
