Election Day Voting
Polling locations will be open from 6AM-8PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. All Cranbury voters vote in Town Hall (23-A North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ lower level).
In-Person Early Voting
In-person early voting locations will be open Saturday, October 24, through Sunday, November 1, for the 2026 General Election. Hours will be Monday to Saturday, 10AM–8PM and Sunday, 10AM–6PM. No appointment is necessary. For Cranbury residents, the closest early voting location is the Monroe Public Library (4 Municipal Plaza, Monroe, NJ).
Early Voting Through Vote by Mail
The County Clerk’s Office will begin mailing out Vote-by-Mail ballots to voters on the permanent Vote-by-Mail list and to voters who recently requested to receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot 45 days before an election. Mailing of Vote-by-Mail ballots for the 2026 General Elections will begin on September 19, 2026. Vote-by-Mail ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3) to be counted.
To ensure your ballot is received and processed in a timely manner, we strongly recommend you place your Vote-by-Mail ballot in a ballot drop box instead of mailing it. Placing it in a drop-box ensures your ballot will be picked up and delivered directly to the Board of Elections without going through the U.S. Postal Service. For Cranbury residents, the closest drop-box is located in front of the Cranbury Police Department (One Logan Dr, Cranbury, NJ). You may also place it in any one of the 34 secure drop box locations throughout Middlesex County.
You can check whether or not you should be receiving a Vote-by-Mail ballot by looking up your voter profile on the NJ Division of Elections website.
If you have not received your Vote-by-Mail ballot by October 1, 2026, fill out and send in a replacement ballot request form before November 1, 2026, to receive a replacement Vote-by-Mail ballot.
