Mayor Matt Scott, who received the endorsement of the Cranbury Democratic Committee, was re-elected to the Cranbury Township Committee to serve a second three-year term. On November 3, 2020 Mayor Scott won his seat with 58.6% of the total vote. See vote totals below.
In his first term, Mayor Scott focussed on the development of the Economic Development Advisory Committee and promoting business development within the Township.
When he ran for Township Committee three years ago, Mayor Scott identified a core goal of getting the new Public Library built. Despite the delay, with funds from the State, the project is now moving forward with ground breaking expected by spring.
