On May 7, the Tour de Cranbury Eagle Scout project gives Cranburians a reason to cycle!

Tyler Cenci, a Scout from Cranbury and current Princeton High School sophomore, is doing something healthy and inspiring for the whole community. He has created the first Tour de Cranbury, a cycling event for people of all skill levels and ages, as his Eagle Scout project. His goal is to promote health and fitness and bring the community together.

Cenci, who is interested in a career in aviation, is an avid cyclist and also a member of Princeton’s varsity swim team. Among his many accomplishments, as a Cranbury School student he participated in Odyssey of the Mind and his team went to State finals in 2019 and Nationals in 2021.

The full “Tour” is a 10 mile route taking riders around the village and farms of Cranbury on open roads with start and finish at Village Park at 9am on May 7. A 3 mile “all skills” version is perfect for newer riders, and there is even a 1 miler “trikes ride” for tots.

It is free to ride and free to register. For more info, check out the Chamber of Commerce info page.
